WE Hub, the Telangana government's incubator for women entrepreneurs, has launched the first cohort of its RAMP acceleration programme with 45 women-led micro, small and medium enterprises from 13 districts of the state.
RAMP stands for Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance. The programme is run with support from the World Bank and the Union Ministry of MSME. The 45 businesses were selected from more than 300 applicants.
What the businesses will get
Over two years, until March 2027, the cohort will receive:
- capacity-building training;
- sector-specific mentorship;
- financial linkages; and
- market access support, including product positioning, e-commerce platforms, and B2B and B2C connections.
Why it matters
Most acceleration programmes concentrate on Hyderabad. Drawing a cohort from 13 districts takes structured support to women running businesses across Telangana, where access to mentors and buyers is usually hardest to find.
